Santander Cycles
Hop on a Santander Cycle Bike and explore Swansea Bay promenade. This self-service bike scheme was introduced to Swansea in 2018. By downloading the 'NextBike' app or registering online, you can collect a bike from six docking stations across the bay; Swansea Uni Bay Campus, Fabian Way Park and Ride, Swansea Civic Centre, National Waterfront Museum, Swansea Uni Singleton Campus and Mumbles Promenade (3 minute walk from Oyster Wharf and Joe's Ice Cream).
You can pay as you ride for as little as £1 for every 30 minutes and £10 for 24 hours.








Bracelet Bay to Caswell Bay
Starting at Bracelet Bay (The Lighthouse restaurant), walk towards Limeslade Bay (by Fortes Ice Cream Parlour), then head over the clifftop coastal path to Rotherslade and Langland Bay. From here, you go past the green huts to the golf course then take the coastal path over to Caswell Bay.

Part 1 (Bracelet Bay to Langland Bay) - 35 minutes, 2.8km
Part 2 (Langland Bay to Caswell Bay) - 30 minutes, 2.1km
Three Cliffs Bay
Park at Three Cliffs Bay grass car park opposite the Shepherds of Gower (SA3 2EH). Heading through the woods, you can encounter Pennard Pill, a large stream that flows through the middle of the bay. There are many large sand dunes and grass areas to walk through, with Pennard Castle on the left hill overlooking the bay. To get to the beach there are stepping stones to get across the pill.

Blue Pool
Park at Broughton Caravan Park, then head to the path that snakes around the hill to Llangennith Bay. Once at Blue Pool Corner, you may have to walk slightly down the hill to spot Blue Pool nestling in the rocks below tucked into Broughton Bay.

Swansea Promenade
Swansea Promenade starts at Swansea City Centre and ends at Mumbles Pier. You can start the walk at any point across the bay. Walk, run, cycle or catch the Mumbles Train with plenty of beach views and cafes to stop at. Surround yourself in Swansea history at all points of the walk from Mumbles to Swansea Bay.
Duration (approx.) - from City Centre to Mumbles - 3 Hours - However, you can walk as much or as little as you like from a few hundred yards to a few miles. It really is your choice.








Oxwich Coastal Path
Starting at Oxwich Bay, this walk takes you on a loop from the beach through Oxwich Woods to Slade Beach. This walk has well defined paths with beautiful scenery wherever you look.
Duration (approx.) - 7.4km loop, 2 Hours
Worms Head Trail
An unforgettable and iconic walk but one that needs careful planning. Starting at Rhossili car park, head across the grass towards the Rhossili/Worms Head Costal trail. The path over Worms Head can only be accessed during low tide as the island gets cut off during high tide with very strong currents. Information regarding the crossing can be found at the information point at the start of the causeway walk. The view from Worms Head provides a great view across Llangennith Bay with views of the 1887 Shipwreck 'Helvetia'.
